Terms of Service
Last updated August 12, 2026.
These terms govern your use of FotosCraft, a marketplace that connects buyers with independent makers to produce custom 3D-printed objects. By using fotoscraft.com, you agree to them.
What FotosCraft is
FotosCraft is a marketplace, not a manufacturer. We provide the platform where buyers post commissions, makers submit bids, and payment and file delivery are handled — but the actual printing is done by independent makers, not FotosCraft.
Accounts
You need an account to post a commission or bid as a maker. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information in your profile.
For buyers
- Posting a commission and receiving bids is free. You're only charged when you accept a bid, through Stripe's checkout.
- Bids on your commission are visible to the public — this is deliberate, it's how pricing stays fair on FotosCraft.
- Once you accept a bid and pay, the maker is notified and begins work. Review the maker's quoted lead time and notes before accepting.
- Don't click "Confirm delivery" until you're satisfied with the finished object — that action releases payment to the maker. If something arrives defective or wrong, contact us before confirming.
- You're responsible for having the rights to any photo, design, or model you submit for printing. Don't commission anything that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights, or that's illegal to produce or ship.
For makers
- A bid is an offer to produce the buyer's commission at the price, materials, and lead time you specify. Once a buyer accepts and pays, you're committed to delivering what you quoted.
- Placing a bid requires an active maker plan and a completed payout account; browsing and viewing jobs stays free. Makers who registered before the plan requirement took effect are grandfathered and can keep bidding at no cost. See "Maker plans" and "Getting paid" below.
- The platform commission is added to the buyer's total at checkout — it isn't deducted from your bid. You receive the full price you quoted, shown in your dashboard. There are no charges for bids that aren't accepted.
- You're responsible for the safety, quality, and legality of what you produce and ship, including compliance with any regulations that apply to the materials or objects you're printing.
- Your maker profile (specialty, materials, region, rate) is public, and bids you place are shown under your real profile name — impersonation or misrepresenting your capabilities isn't allowed.
Getting paid
- Payouts are handled by Stripe. Before you can bid, you'll complete a short Stripe onboarding so we know where to send your money — Stripe collects your identity and bank details directly, and we never see or store them. The country you choose is fixed at that point and can't be changed later.
- When a buyer pays, the funds are held by FotosCraft rather than sent to you immediately. This is what lets us stand behind the order if something goes wrong, and it's what "buyer protection" means at checkout.
- Your payment is released to your Stripe account when the buyer confirms delivery. If the buyer doesn't confirm and doesn't raise a problem, it releases automatically 14 days after you mark the commission delivered or shipped, so an unresponsive buyer can't hold your money indefinitely.
- Once released, the money moves to your bank on Stripe's normal payout schedule for your country. You can reach payout history and change your bank details from your dashboard.
- If a buyer is refunded or wins a payment dispute, the corresponding payment is reversed — funds still held are simply not released, and funds already released may be reversed from your Stripe account. We'll always tell you why.
- You're responsible for your own taxes on what you earn. We don't withhold anything.
Maker plans
- Placing a bid requires an active plan: Hobby ($19/mo, 10 model generations), Shop ($49/mo, 28 model generations), or Studio ($149/mo, 85 model generations). Plans bill monthly in advance through Stripe.
- Once you use your monthly allowance, more model credits are available at the pack prices shown on the Pricing page. Unused allowance from a monthly renewal doesn't expire and isn't taken back if you cancel — it stays in your credit balance alongside any credits you've bought separately, and you can keep spending it.
- If a reconstruction fails or the resulting model doesn't clear our quality check, the credit it used is refunded to your balance automatically, up to a daily limit designed to prevent abuse of the refund itself.
- Cancel, switch plans, or update your card anytime through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period — there are no partial-month refunds.
- We may change plan prices or included allowances going forward; we'll give notice before a change takes effect.
Your content
You retain ownership of any photo, model, or file you upload. By submitting it to FotosCraft, you grant us and the maker you select the limited right to use it for the purpose of producing and delivering your commission. We do not use uploaded files to train AI models.
Payments
All payments are processed by Stripe. FotosCraft never handles your card details directly. The total shown at checkout includes the maker's price plus a platform fee, shown as a line item before you confirm.
Your payment is held by FotosCraft until you confirm the commission was delivered — the maker isn't paid before then. If you don't confirm and don't raise a problem, it's released to the maker automatically 14 days after they mark it delivered or shipped.
Prohibited use
Don't use FotosCraft to commission or produce anything illegal, to defraud another user, to scrape or abuse the platform, or to circumvent the fees or protections described here.
Disputes
If a commission goes wrong, contact us before confirming delivery — we'll work with both sides toward a resolution, which may include a refund. FotosCraft facilitates the transaction but is not a party to the underlying agreement between buyer and maker.
Limitation of liability
FotosCraft is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for the quality, safety, or legality of objects produced by makers, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including fraud, abuse, or repeated failure to fulfill accepted commissions.
Changes
We may update these terms as FotosCraft evolves. Material changes will update the date at the top of this page.
